Easy… definitely my dedication to basketball. Since the end of my Senior year, I wanted to get better. Not just because I wanted to be better than other people, but to show myself I could play better. I worked that whole Summer toward my goal, and now we’re winning IM’s in college, yeeeh! :)Support the friends!

My grades slipped a lot sophomore year. It took not only pressure from my parents but also my own initiative and my will power to learn to focus and buckle down to get better grades. Now, my GPA is higher and I’m more confident in myself about applying for college next fall! #willpowerisrealpower

First time I auditioned for a dance team, I didn’t make it. I thought that not making the team would have me quit dancing for good. But then, my friends persuaded me to keep dancing so I took classes and trained to get better. The next time I auditioned for the team, I made it and without it, I wouldn’t be where I am now, on Future Shock SD! #willpowerisrealpower

There were a few times when I felt completely hopeless and alone in which that put me in a state of depression for a while. I felt as if no one would hear me out and that these were my problems to deal with and that no one else should be involved. But I was blind to the fact that people ARE there for me. I put a wall between everyone and myself because I was too afraid to step up and communicate. In my eyes, this was a hard thing to overcome just because I was so used to bottling things in. It’s like a change in diet and I’m happy that I’m letting people in. HAAAA. yee.
